Mission & Beliefs

Macedonia Baptist Church is a Body of Believers in Jesus Christ. Through a faith rooted in Christian values, we proclaim the Gospel, bring souls to Christ, and prepare for discipleship in our community and the world through missions, teaching biblical principles, evangelizing and baptizing.

About Us

Discipleship

Lunch with Jesus takes place Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. where we take time to reflect on the works and teachings of Jesus while fellowship with one another in a lunch setting supporting one another through Christ.
Bible Study is designed to develop a deeper relationship with God’s word and apply it to our everyday lives. It is held weekly on Wednesday at Macedonia at 7 p.m. and is open to everyone. We analyze verses in the bible and refer back to their historical time and how it references to current living in today’s world.
The Macedonia Sunday School is on a mission to grow.  Sunday school is and always has been an integral part of our Christian Growth.
Our dedicated teaching staff has committed their time and talent to developing students for pre K-to adults into the church that God has called for in His word.  The Scriptures command us to “Be diligent to present yourselves approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed rightly dividing the “Word of truth”.  (I Timothy 2:15)
Please join us every Sunday 9:00AM to 9:45AM.   The Christian Education Ministry would like to thank Mrs. Edmonia Snipe for the years she served as Superintendent of Sunday School.  The baton was passed to her when Mrs. Jerue Foster retired.  Mrs. Snipe, who is a retired school teacher, served her church diligently in this capacity.  We thank her for all she did to keep Sunday school active in the service of God.

“Touching Lives through Teaching”

The goal of the Christian Education Ministry is to serve as an instrument to bring individuals to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through teaching and to equip the congregation for discipleship.  We want the congregation to earnestly move “from membership to discipleship”.
It is critical that our mission is the same as God’s mission-to restore us to a right relationship with him, and to conform to the image of Jesus, the Christ.
Our focus has been on enabling our leadership and membership.  Leaders such as Deacons, Deaconess, Officers, President, Directors, etc., come in contact with the majority of the congregation on a daily basis.  If the leaders are spiritually equipped, there will be an overflow to the ministries over which they preside.  One of the most radical things that can happen to our church is for “each one to reach one”.
The Church must also educate its members by teaching the bible, its doctrines, and Christian belief.  “We invite you to “get on Board”.
