Mission Statement
Purpose: The Daughters of David Women’s Ministry is to provide an opportunity for the women of Macedonia Baptist Church to fellowship together under the umbrella of the Christian Education Department and to develop a sisterhood that is geared towards developing and nurturing the Christian commitment in different areas of the Christian women’s life.

Generally, the Daughters of David Women’s Ministry will seek to unite women and encourage them to take advantage of the Christian Education programs offered at Macedonia Baptist Church such as Sunday school, prayer and Bible study, new membership class, and take what is gleaned from this organization for outreach as well as one on one ministry.

Objectives:

1. To formulate a support group of Christian women regarding their spiritual needs such as:
a. Self esteem
b. Women in crisis
c. Legal issues
d. Health issues
e. Financial needs and problems
f. The Christian working woman
g. The Single Christian woman
h. The Divorce Christian woman
i. The Christian widow

2. To provide Christian women a forum to share concerns and issues related to challenges of daily life, and to offer guidance in how to respond to their respective issues.

3. To offer Christian insight and encouragement to issues associated with the demands of work and career pursuit.

4. To provide a Christian perspective on the problems and concerns of family life (children, husband, parents, home, etc.)

5. To tap the skills and talents of Christian women and provide them with a forum to utilize their gifts for their Lord’s service and the up building of His kingdom.
