PURE Dance Ministry
The three passions necessary for the PURE dance ministry are God, Dance, and Family. The aim is to serve God and provide praise through Liturgical dance.
PURE, which stands for Praise United Repertory Ensemble (children -PURE 2: The Fruit Of The Spirit), is a dance ministry structured in the words of the Bible which are spoken through Scripture. This ministry began through Nereida’s signature piece as a soloist, “Alabaster Box”, “I need you now” and so much more. This grew into an even greater gratitude to minister in dance throughout the tristate areas at churches, festivals, holiday events as well as personal engagements.
PURE is welcoming to both adults and children at Macedonia Baptist Church while ministering to other churches in pursuit of creating their own ministries with workshops and retreats. This ministry strives to live by Isaiah 52:7 - “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
