Minister Karen Glover
Minister Karen E. Glover was born, raised and educated in Mt. Vernon, NY. A lifelong member of Macedonia Baptist Church, she was baptized under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Richard H. Dixon, Jr.
The daughter of Louise Glover- Zollicoffer and the late George H. Glover, Minister Glover earned her high school diploma from MVHS then later went on to Delaware State University in Dover, DE. After leaving Delaware, Minister Glover worked for Mount Vernon City School District as a secretary for over 15 years. Once her assignment was over, she went back to school, attending Westchester Community College where she obtained her CNA License.
In 2017, Minister Glover stopped running from the call on her life and gave God her “YES”! On April 23, 2017 she was licensed to preach the Gospel under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Darren M. Morton, Sr. Pastor. As an Associate Minister, she is involved in Christian Education as a Sunday school teacher and choir. Minister Glover's passion is to teach and equip God's people, helping them find their divine purpose and live out God's holy word.
Minister Glover says her greatest accomplishment is being the mom to three of the most loving and devoted children: Jasmine Leah, Jayme Christoper, and of course, last but certainly not least, Julian Kyle. Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations".
